The Uptime of a Hyper-V VM is reset at backup

Summary

Backup of the drive that contains a VM of the Hyper-V host will reset the uptime of the virtual machine.
This is due to Hyper-V specification.

Workaround

In order to display correct uptime after backup, restart (Hyper-V Virtual Machine Management service (VMMS)).
