Notes on using ActiveImage Protector 2018 Linux Update8 on openSUSE/SLES/SLED

Summary

This article provides the notes on using ActiveImage Protector 2018 Linux Update8 (AIP2018 Linux Update8) in SUSE.
If the following conditions apply to your SUSE environment, you need to take workaround.

1) AIP2018 Linux Update8 does not support BtrFS file system.
→ Please format with XFS or Ext4 file system.

2) When BIOS Boot partition is included in backup source, backup task fails.

→ When executing a backup task, mounting BIOS Boot partition fails and the backup task fails with Exit -312. Please do not create BIOS Boot partition.
